INDYCAR ButtKicker iRacing Pro Series to Launch in September

iRacing, INDYCAR, and ButtKicker have announced the creation of the inaugural INDYCAR ButtKicker iRacing Pro Series, which will debut in September.

The series will feature a prize pool of $50,000 and will bring together top open-wheel sim racers from around the world. The competition kicks off on September 19 and will include races at various renowned INDYCAR venues. Each event will be broadcast live on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET via iRacing’s social media channels, as well as the NTT INDYCAR SERIES YouTube channel and website.

A New Chapter in eSports

“The INDYCAR ButtKicker iRacing Pro Series is the latest exciting development in iRacing’s renewed relationship with INDYCAR,” stated iRacing President Tony Gardner. “For years, iRacers have clamored for a top INDYCAR eSports series, and with the support of ButtKicker, we’re putting together an awesome inaugural campaign for 2024. This new series is a result of a recently signed licensing agreement between iRacing and INDYCAR. It will join the iRacing INDY 500 as one of the most significant partnerships between the two brands. The INDYCAR ButtKicker iRacing Pro Series also aligns with other high-profile iRacing eSports series, such as those with NASCAR, Porsche, and the World of Outlaws.

Competitive Spirit
